Universal Tactical Magazine Holster for
Tokyo Marui SAIGA-12K 45rd / 90rd magazines & AK-47/AKM platform

I designed this quick release magazine holster because there is a lack of quick release magazine carrying systems for the Tokyo Marui Saiga-12K on the market as well as I´ve been tired of needing separate gear setups for Tokyo Marui Saiga-12K and AK-47 platforms.
The Saiga-12 Universal Tactical Holster is the robust, modular solution you need. There are 2 designs in package! One for 45rd magazines (which comes with your new gun) and 90rd magazines (extended). Designed for airsoft and MilSim use, its unique elastic-retention system ensures a secure fit for both wide Saiga-12 magazines and standard AK-47 mags!
I personally tested and continuously upgraded the entire system for 6 months in combat conditions on airsoft fields. This is the final version suitable for direct use.

This holster is a 5-component modular system designed for easy printing, assembly, and maximum durability. The parts are named for clarity in the assembly process:

1. “Holster” (Main Body): The core component that holds the magazine. (for 45rd mags / 90rd mags)
2. “Expander” (Print 2x): Side panels that guide and manage the elastic cord. (for 45rd mags / 90rd mags)
3. “Mounting Wedge” (Print 2x): The rigid clips required for secure attachment to any MOLLE webbing. (Same part for both designs)

The secret to its universal fit lies in the flexible retention. The Holster and two Expanders are interconnected by a continuous 3mm diameter elastic cord (not included in the STL files). This cord runs vertically through the holes, effectively creating a dynamic sleeve that securely hugs the unique shape of either a wide Saiga-12 mag or a narrower AK mag (90rd version). The tension can be adjusted and locked at the bottom using a simple knot (PREFFERED) or a Cord Lock (also known as a cord stopper or toggle).

For maximum strength, robustness, and longevity in the field, I strongly recommend the following print settings:

Material: PETG (personal preference) Excellent layer adhesion, impact, and UV resistance.

Layer Height: 0.2 mm Good balance of detail and printing time.

Wall/Perimeter Count: The print must be completely filled with plastic! We need to increase the “number of walls” in our slicer so use a number 20 or greater. All necessary information is available in the detailed manual that you will receive with the files!

Supports: Not Required. Designed to print without support structures.

To complete the assembled holster, you will need to source just 1pcs of following hardware:

• Approximately 105 cm (min.100cm) of 3mm diameter round elastic cord/shock cord.
